Owned by Judge Henry and Bobbie Atkinson, Rancho Poco Loco began as a father and sons project with Mr. Henry and his two sons Drew and Darryl clearing land for the family horses. With stringent breeding program guidelines and the enthusiasm and love of the Quarter Horse and Paint breed, the Atkinson's breed and raise some of the finest quality stock in the country today.

At Rancho Poco Loco we offer stallion service from our world class Quarter and Paint Horse stallions. You can send your mare to the ranch for the finest care in our new mare motel, or we'll gladly ship cooled semen to your location. In addition to stallion services, we also a shipped semen receiving station and offer foaling services.

Rancho Poco Loco offers a tranquil setting overlooking the bass-filled waters of Lake Cherokee. Our 10-stall show and stallion barn is constructed of fire-retardant concrete and metal and is complete with all the amenities for the comfort of our world champion stallions or your special mare. Our state-of-the-art facilities include covered round pens, groomed and safely fenced pastures and paddocks, an 80 x 200 lighted outdoor arena, as well as a new 40-stall mare motel and breeding barn equipped with all the necessities of a modern breeding facility. Whether you are looking for the right stallions for your mares or a place to send your mare for foaling or breeding, you'll be interested in the services we offer..   

Due to the demand of the ranch, our showing is limited to qualifying our Quarter Horses for the AQHA World Show and several paint shows to promote our horses as needed. However, We offer to everyone an invitation to visit us here at the ranch and view our world champion stallions and broodmares.
